Laurabeth 16 Weeks

Peek a boo....I see you!! Sorry mom, hers going to be a brown eye baby. Can you see the brown fazing in. I know we were hoping for a blue eyed baby this time to favor Craig's blue eye, but looks like brown is coming in. There's still hope that she'll be half and half on the one eye though. Can you see it? Blue in the bottom half of her left eye and brown on the top. I've heard of that happening before too.

Finally got some good ones of her smiling for the camera!

We've had a good spring break so far. Bradley has been enjoying being at home and I think Alayna has enjoyed having him home too. A break from our normal routine. We've done little things here and there, but stayed home for the most part. On any given day I'll turn around and have an extra 2 or in my house which I never mind. It's a blessing having Ben and Sarah across the street for Bradley and Alayna. They always bee bop back and forth so they've had a few play days with them this week and that helps for me for them to be occupied to catch up around the house and such. The big highlight will be the zoo tomorrow and daddy got us tickets for the circus on Saturday so we're excited for that. It's suppose to be a nice day and weekend. YIPEE!! Yesterday we got creative and made spring cookies. Normally they'll decorate 1 or 2 and be done, but they took their time and made good creations so it was worth the mess. Laura has been sleeping a lot during the day...more than normal. The beginning of the week I think she was fighting something... a little sniffly so that's probably why. I've just enjoyed enjoying my kids this week and can tell they have too.

After dinner ruff em up wrestle time is their favorite thing

No mercy with daddy
Pippy longstocking
Bradley loves when Laura wakes him up in the morning for school. It starts his day off on the right foot
Oh does this little one love to paint. This time was a little unsupervised. Oh well, she had fun and it keeps her in one place for awhile so once again it's worth the mess.
Alayna loves to come pounce on us in the morning and demand us out of bed because she wants her milk and "I'm hungry!!" and this time we weren't complying so she goes down and sets up her own breakfast and heres how we found her. Her very own picnic breakfast.
These 2 can be quite the little love bugs. He hugs her and says "quick mommy, get the camera and take a picture!"
Their new thing is playing legos together. Every morning this week it's been their favorite way to start the day. It's cute just watching them pittle together.

Looney Tunes

I actually ventured out to the mall with all three kids in tow for the first time. Wasn't sure how it would go, but wanted to check out the new looney tunes kid play area at MacArthur. So glad it was worth the trip. A little iffy at first because we were tootling around and all was well until Bradley got his hand stuck in the elevator. After it opened he stuck his hand in the wall portion of it and people were looking at him funny and I couldn't see his face until I tuned into something wasn't right and then he paniced and went ballistic. Poor little guy!! We pulled aside to check it out and went to customer service to get a bandaid. Ended up being ok...thank goodness! He didn't want to play at first but then recovered from the trauma and they loved it. Alayna ran around like a crazy girl. Wasn't too crowded. Bradley had fun too! He said he had fun, but didn't know if he was just being gracious. I thought it would be more for the little kids and it was to a point but he enjoyed it while it lasted. Yesterday and today he keeps saying "mommy, can we go back to that place again, it was so fun" Something new I guess and free so that makes a mommy happy too.

Easter morning

The kids woke up Easter morning to an egg hunt and a basket hunt. We also had a conversation before we even went down to make sure they understood what the real meaning of Easter was and Bradley assuradly let us know that he did and let us know which was sweet hearing it from him. Once they found all their eggs, Alayna found her basket in the playroom and Bradley found his in his closet. We had a big Easter breakfast and scooted off to church and then to Dave and Sue's for Easter dinner. I think the kids were Easter egg hunted out since they had 4 of them all together.

Bradley's easter party and spring concert

Bradley had his class Easter party and egg hunt on Friday and his teacher gave each child a number and there were 12 eggs with their number on eggs so they had to hunt for just their number which I thought was neat because it ensured they each got the same amount and made the egg hunt last a long time and the kids loved the idea. Alayna did great this time! I didn't have to high tail it out of their like the last party. Whew!! I was thankful for that!

Bradley did great at his concert. Sung his little heart out as usual. He wanted me to get pictures of him and his buddy's. Manny on the end is his best school buddy.
Mommy, will you get a picture with me and the girls? Why Bradley? Because they are so cute!! Silly kid!!

Happy Easter!

We had such a nice Easter Day! We finally found an Easter party to crash! I was so thankful that Dave and Sue finally invited us over for Easter dinner after I begged them and made them feel sorry for us. Only kidding... they graciously invited us over even though they had family in town and didn't think another thing of it. We had an awesomely good meal....best ham I've had in a long time so I won't be buying spiral sliced anymore. I'll be going for the good stuff. They kids had fun finding their eggs and hoppin all their energy out in the sack races. We hung out in the backyard catching up while watching the kids play. Bradley and Alexander were in cahoots with one another to try and spray us either with the hose or water balloons, but none of us wanted to get wet, but they soaked themselves silly. Our two precious 2 year olds pittled in the yard just following each other around. Too cute!! They had an on day together. Not sure if they'll be best buds or hubby and wife. May be too soon to tell. All in all, it was a gorgeous day! A great big thank you for a great day!!

Even our itty bitty babies got to race....adorable!!

Poor baby girl didn't even know what was up!
