Mud Buddies

Apparently I missed a good show.....I was gone one day and Craig caught these 2 in action. They are something else when they are together. The nature boys....the field is their best friend and they are one with the woods. Craig heard them nonstop belly laughing and caught them spraying themselves off with the hose and then they'd go and roll in the dirt. He got a kick out of watching them and wished I'd seen it in action myself but glad he caught some pics of it.

Laura Beth 6 months old

Laura had her 6 month check a little over a month ago and she is still my littlest peanut yet. She only weighed 14 lbs 6 ozs...and almost 25 inches long. By now the other 2 were at about 18+ pounds heavier, a couple inches longer and their heads were 2 inches bigger. Hers only in the 10 percentile, but they said she looks great because she's going up the chart just fine. This baby girl brings us such joy. Doesn't matter what's going on she's always willing to give you a smile to brighten any moment. She's a fragile little thing that startles way easier than Bradley and Alayna did and she's my first one that doesn't last too long in the care of someone else. She has went from a pacifer, to her thumb to now her 2 fingers. It took her longer to be able to use the exersaucer and jumperoo because she was just too little. She loves being on her belly to sleep and play. She was sleeping through the night at about 3 months and somewhere along the way that stopped and she was back to getting up 1 time a night. Not sure what happened.....little stinker, but we are back on track with sleeping through, which I am so thankful for. We're so thankful for this sweet baby girl.

Grandma and Grandpa Boyer came to visit

Grandpa and Laura
What a cool baby!

Grandpa and Grandma Boyer came into town for a visit. They were able to stay with us for a night. It was great catching up with even though it was a quick visit. Destiny was able to come with them again so the kids had a playmate too. We hung out at the beach for a little bit one day and then they spoiled us to a feast at Captain Georges for dinner one night.

Happy 6th Birthday Bradley (Birthday Weekend)

My little boy has turned 6!! WOW!! As always where does the time go? He's quickly phasing out of the little boy slowly in a big boy. I feel like at this age they are between the two worlds. Still so little and innocent, but wanting to do and be bigger things. He's loving doing big things with his daddy and getting that one on one time like golfing, fishing, shooting be be guns, but will still snuggle in mommy's lap in a heart beat and want to do things with me. I love this boy and who he's becoming and although one part of me is sad he's growing so quickly the other part of me is just as intrigued to see who will be and all that God has for him.
His birthday is always bursting with so much activity being that it's centered around the 4th of July. On his actual birthday we took him to Ocean breeze as a family. Steven and Michele were able to join us and that was pretty cool for Bradley. That evening gramma and grandpa Boscoe came in town for the weekend so we celebrated with cake and icecream. We didn't have a planned party, but his neighborhood buddies came on in and join us for some cake and singing. Bradley requested a chocolate chip icecream spiderman cake so I was able to pull that off. When Bradley came down that morning we had the kitchen all decorated in his request with spiderman so he was excited about that.
The next day was the fourth and we just hung out and played. Bradley got a 7 foot rocket for his birthday that everyone had a blast either watching or participating in. The guys were like big kids messing around with it and I think having just as much fun. That night we decided instead of dragging the kids to the fireworks with all the crowds ect....that we'd just hang out here and do our own. It was very relaxing and all the neighbors joined in and said it was a great tradition. I agree!

Happy Birthday to me!

Bradley loves hitting golfballs with his daddy

Happy 4th of July!!

Who gets her first

Some days it's a race to see who can get to baby Laura first and some days one is more in tune with it than the other and sometimes neither....it just depends. Bradley got there first this time and other times Alayna is more in tune with the monitor and she'll run in there and yell "mommy, come here....baby Laura is up" I'm like.... I know I can hear and already know she's in the bed with her. She continues to yell for me until I come up and see for myself. This time I just had to capture the moment.

A night at the beach

Just some shots of a beach night. I think we've learned we like going better at night. There's just something more relaxing about it I guess. The music adds some fun, it's not too hot, the icecream doesn't melt as fast ect....Alayna met a little girl this night and they danced their little hearts out. They stole the show by far. She was a year older, but by their size you'd have thought the other way around. After playing on the sand and some dancing we settled down on 31st street for some more music and the kids danced some more and ran back and forth in the big open space until they couldn't run anymore and before we knew it it was 10pm and had to pack up and get home.

Daddy and Bradley playing chase...always brings such joy to that little boy playing with his daddy. Most days he's got to compete with 2 little princesses, but when he gets him all to himself it just radiates on his face.

Finally Gotcha!
My little peanut....tiny little dolly completes our family....in some ways I sort of wish she'd stay that way forever and in others I'm excited to see who she's going to be one day. She's so tiny and fragile still but deep down I believe I detect some strength that she'll be able to hold her own one day. Just by staring into her eyes I get a little sense of who she is.
My Alayna....just makes me smile....her little mind and the things she says our priceless and keeps us laughing. The other day she said "mommy....look at me, do you know who I am?" Who Alayna? "I'm a WILD PRINCESS!" with such expression to emphazise WILD. Oh dear I thought, please calm down before the teen years.
This little guys is growing before my eyes and has a perception and in tune with things and feelings sometimes I think above his years and love that about him and pray as he grows it grows into Godly wisdom. He's going to be 6 tomorrow and where the time has gone is always remains a mystery in my mind.
