Basspro shops

Gotta do my annual Bass Pro shops post....I tell ya! It makes for happy kids and daddy. Happy momma too to see the excitement on their faces everytime we go. They had some activities this past Saturday. We seen it in an add a few weeks earlier and told Bradley about it and for 2 weeks he was counting down and didn't let us forget.

Ok so I'll pretend for just a minute.....Craig made fun of me because I had the bow backwards and told me I'd shoot myself if I used it like that. How am I suppose to know these things. This thing looks like something you'd use in a war. $849 bucks....that's a whole new wardrobe for me. Craig took me bow hunting when we were 17 and 18. We were driving down the country roads (romatic right?) and all of a sudden he comes to a sudden stop.....he saw his catch. I'm oblivious to the fact that there was a deer and he's out the car and grabs his bow and just as he pulls it back I jump out of the car and scream NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! and off runs the deer and no catch for Craig. I was just the girlfriend along for the ride pretending to support my boyfriends hunting. Needless to say I never have been hunting since.

He wants a bow so bad
Branding a leather key chain

We seriously think despite her princess ways that she'll be the pretty girl that hunts with her daddy.

Bullseye

Oh she loved watching the fish

Pool Fun

Just some family pool time fun! We love our pool! It's nothing glamorous, but it works for us and we're thanful to have it. Especially on the days you don't want to pack up and go somewhere. It definitely brings alot of laughter and fun and something we can do together no matter the ages of our kids.

Laura loves being in the water.
He's goin down!
Snuggle lovin
There both ganging up on their daddy!

Here I go!!

Happy girl!
Alayna loves being in the tube together

Silly Fun

Sometimes you just have to let them go even if it means a big mess to clean up after. I was down doing dishes and heard all the giggles and commotion in the playroom. Daddy took them up after dinner to play. So I go up and check in out and there was a huge pile in the middle of the floor and no daddy. Hmmm....where'd he go? I hear the muffles under the blankets and had a clue. The kids had been going back and forth from the playroom to the linen closet and pulling out everything from top to bottom. Blankets, comforters, curtains, airmattresses, pillows. You name it, they got it out. They were burying daddy with all of it and having the time of their life.
Sometimes these two have more fun making up their own thing than all the toys in the world. I love it!

There he it!....Bradley was still recovering from his major black eye...he fell down the neighbors steps. It was awful....never did get a picture of it at it's worst.

Yes I can be a princess too

Oh this girl! Love her!! She has two different worlds for sure. She can be the prissiest princess in all the land some days. Gramma got her this dress along with a video that she can learn the princess dances and she was mezmerized by it. She is so into dancing and music. I put her hair up in a bun and she thought she was a real princess. She had to have a tshirt on under her dress because it was scratchy HA! Aw yes..... there are the princess days where she is as sweet as sugar canday and then........

.........there are days where she is as fiesty as a little ogre. You just never know what you are going to get. I joke and say that I can tell by the look in her eyes when she wakes up if it will be a princess day or an ogre day.

Gone fishin

We took the kids to a local park last weekend to go fishing. They both love to fish! Bradley got his very first real tackle box this year with his birthday money along with some things to go in it. It's much better than him getting into daddy's. He was so funny after he got it he would open it constantly and just stare at everything in it and would was constantly saying to one of us...."can I please sit in your lap and show you my tackle box?" So he'd sit on one of our laps with the tackle box on his and he'd just stare at the stuff or reorganize it and shift everything around in it. This went on for probably a week until the newness of it wore off. Alayna got her very first fishing pole and she picked out a princess one. Imagine that! She fished a little, but quite honestly her most favorite thing to do is to play with the worms and talk to them. She'll pull them apart, she'll stretch them across her forehead. She'll sit there forever with those squirmly little creatures and make her mommy squirm at the same time.

Excited to go fishing!!

I'm just along for the ride as usual.

Me and my girls

We caught a few little fishes and no surprise that Alayna loved holding the fishes too.

Alayna and her little friends. We're eating our lunch on top of the table and she grabs the worms and goes under the table to play with them. That girl!!

Awwwww......... Cute little fishing buddies

Down by the bay

I was so thankful for such a gorgeous day at the bay the other day. As we came up over the sand and looked out the water was so calm and it just brought such peace over me. I was like....thank you Lord for such a beautful day. I knew the kids felt it too. I normally don't brave it with the 3 little ones by myself at the beach, but I've been very encouraged going it lately. We met Sue and the kids there and the kids were all so happy and had a ball playing together. They all sort of paired off with their little playmates being cute in their own little ways. Sue and I of course chatted the whole time about our future fall plans and ideas and what the changes of school starting would mean and bring to our world. I'm a little sad summer is coming to a close quickly, but excited for the cool fall air, sweatshirts and all of the fun activities that season has to offer as well.

Bradley teaching Laura how to make sand castles....she got her first taste of sand.

Alayna was so content sitting in her hole.
I did my heart good just watching these to pittle in the sand together talking.

I don't know how I ever survived without one of these with the other two. It makes life so so much easier and keeps your hands free. She eats in it, she takes her nap in it, she plays in it and she loves being in it. Sues never known life without one and I didn't even know what I was missing and the best is that I got it on Craigs list for 10 bucks!!

Look at these two just hangin out......all is well with their little world. There are 8 months between them and sweet Maddie wants so much to be able to play with Laura. She will get so close to her face and chatter right to her. She has so much to say to her little friend and probably wonders why her friend doesn't talk back. Soon enough Maddie....she just saving up her words for you.

Ta da!!!....look at us!!! Cute, cute cute how these two play.

And these two just live in their own little boy world. They both love being outside always on a mission to make something out of nothing.

Always on an adverture
