We had a power pack weekend of fun activities....Saturday morning we woke up and headed out to get some bagels and then went to Mount Trashmore to fly a kite. It was a beautiful day for it and the wind was just right!! I tell ya wide open endless spaces is a miracle worker for little ones. The kids had a blast and it was something fun and different to do. We fed the birds, flew Bradley's spiderman kite, ran and rolled down the hill and played at Kid's Cove at the bottom of the hill. It was such a fun quality time. Bradley keeps asking when we are going to the big hill again.

Alayna was mesmerized by the geese and followed them everywhere talking to them.
She even followed them under the docks. Where are you birdies?

Alayna has learned how to throw rock and sticks in the water like big brother.
There were many seagulls mixed in with the geese so my question is if seagulls fly over the sea then what kind of birds fly over the bay.....HA!! Get it?

We LOVE Mt. Trashmore! I get so tired climbing that stinkin hill! It looks like the kids had fun, and it was a perfect day for it.
Heidi-you're a hoot! Your personality comes across every time I read your blog. Another day to seize the moments and allow that spontaneity to bring your family closer together. What a great day together! We love that park too. Grayson and I will often make the trek in the Spring and Fall to play at the Park.
What an awesome day. Paiyton loves Mt trashmore too. She always asks can we go to the Fire works park? She connects it to 4th of July. What a great family day.
What a WONDERFUL day you had, for sure. The weather was beautiful - whenwe headed down to the beach to drive the race course and go to the expo, we saw many people flyng kites over trashmore. What fun!

What a perfect Saturday. Love bagels, Mt. Trashmore, feeding geese and spending time with the best people in the world - what could be better!
