Laurabeth 8 Month Milestones

Our little darlin is growing up fast.....she made some milestones the past few weeks. She's officially crawling although when she's in a hurry she will still pull herself on her belly. She's also able to put herself from laying down to sitting up which she's been doing for a little bit now. As of today she can now pull herself up into a standing position. I went to get her out of her crib and she was standing up. I came in and shrieked and she was holding on for dear life shaking. I scared her.....I thought it was a fluke, but she did the same on the couch. This is much earlier than the other 2. She's so darn cute and it's been fun watching her explore her little world on a different level. 2 weeks ago her first 2 teeth came in at the same time and never seen it coming. She's been loving life with her new snack of cheerios. She doesn't quite have the pincher grasp down yet, but she'll grab them with her little paw and get them in her mouth. You can tell she feels like one of the big kids now. Alayna loves to pull her chair over to the high chair and eat cheerios with her. Now that Bradley is gone most of the day it's so cute to see these two interact more than they ever have. Alayna has taken on a whole new interest in her little sister. It used to be Bradley & Alayna or Bradley and Laura. It will be neat to see their relationship blossem this year. Alayna loves sitting on her back or pulling her by her arms or legs like it's just no big deal and Laura just smiles at it all. Poor baby! I'm always reminding her that's not the way we play with baby sister. Laura has figured out how to make her big sister fret already. All she has to do is go after her beloved petshops.


Laura loves crawling outside in the grass. She seems fascinated with it. Silly girl likes eating leaves so we have to keep an eye on that. She'll pick one up and just stare at it forever and then pop it in her mouth. Our guard is up inside too.....she has now officially discovered the litter box. UGH!!!! Daddy caught her for the first time and it was just in time.

She's a quiet little thing....you can tell she's a thinker....she just sort of takes it all in. She'll stare at you for awhile and then give you smile after smile. She's a little sweetie!
