What a surprise!

I had the best surprise last week! Craig and Lindsay pulled one over on me! She was suppose to come and visit me this summer and let me know a few months ago that she just wasn't going to be able to pull it off this year which left me bummed out but accepted it for what it was. Long story short her and Craig were in cahoots for a month on surprising me. I was upstairs putting things away from our last visitors and I heard the doorbell ring. I thought it was just the neighbor kids coming to play and when I looked down the stairs I seen a little blonde head go down below the window. I thought that's not Sarah... and for a split second I thought....was that Aleigha? Then I thought....there's no way! So I raced downstairs and opened the door and there standing staring at me with a video camera in my face was Lindsay, Taylee and Aleigha. Needless to say I went crazy and couldn't believe it. It took me a few hours to process that they were even here. We had the best time with them. The kids had a blast! Bradley was just telling me a few weeks before he wished he could see Taylee and Aleigha again. We were able to go to Busch Gardens and YES Lyn and I were so CRAZY to bring the 5 kids by ourselves. A lot of hard work but we did it and all that mattered was that they had a good time. Aleigha and Lyn were nuts to have rode the roller coasters that they did. Can't believe Aleigha did! For some reason I'd have thought she would be a fraidy cat like her Auntie because of her calm logical side, but somewhere deep down she's got a crazy adventureous side like her mommy. The other ones were content taking it at a slower pace on the kiddy rides and that was fine with me. Sweet Aleigha loved Sesame just as much as the other ones. Again, Alayna went nuts seeing the character.

For the second year in a row Taylee got to celebrate her birthday here so once again she requested to make her own cake and decorate it. I'm realizing kids love traditions and the memories they create in their little mind. The other ones got to decorate their own cupcakes so they were in on the fun.

Another little tradition was going to fun forest one day and having pizza for dinner. Another memory in their mind of something they remembered and enjoyed doing. Actually I think that is Lyn's favorite thing to do now HA!!

We hit the beach a few times and ocean breeze once. Other than that we hung out and swam and watched the kids play and reconnect which for me is just as fun watching the cousins bond since we don't get to see them very often. A whole year can pass and they don't really even have to get reaccointed. They just pick up where they left off. I guess it's that sense of family. They just know and feel it. Sweet times for sure and thank you for coming Lyn and for pulling off such a fun surprise!!! You and Craig and something else!! Sister time is the best....you can just be who you are. You can laugh together, cry together, get frustrated together, be crabby together, be silly and reckless together and it just doesn't matter. I guess there's comfort in that. I enjoyed our morning coffee together since that is such a new thing. Lyn, you've succumed to the grown up world of drinking coffee. Just kidding! Love you girl!!

Me and my sissy!

The whole gang dive bombed me one morning! Aleigha was actually still sleeping.

Happy Birthday Taylee!

When I took Aleigha and Taylee on the Dark Castle, Auntie spoiled Bradley and Alayn with some Strawberry Shortcake because they didn't want to go.
This baby loved the music. She was bobbing and bouncing like crazy!

Our annual pizza at fun forest

Poor Craig missed out on alot of the fun having to work all week, but was able to come and enjoy a beach day.

This was insane!! Look at these 3 pretending they were babies!!

Mud Buddies

Apparently I missed a good show.....I was gone one day and Craig caught these 2 in action. They are something else when they are together. The nature boys....the field is their best friend and they are one with the woods. Craig heard them nonstop belly laughing and caught them spraying themselves off with the hose and then they'd go and roll in the dirt. He got a kick out of watching them and wished I'd seen it in action myself but glad he caught some pics of it.

Laura Beth 6 months old

Laura had her 6 month check a little over a month ago and she is still my littlest peanut yet. She only weighed 14 lbs 6 ozs...and almost 25 inches long. By now the other 2 were at about 18+ pounds heavier, a couple inches longer and their heads were 2 inches bigger. Hers only in the 10 percentile, but they said she looks great because she's going up the chart just fine. This baby girl brings us such joy. Doesn't matter what's going on she's always willing to give you a smile to brighten any moment. She's a fragile little thing that startles way easier than Bradley and Alayna did and she's my first one that doesn't last too long in the care of someone else. She has went from a pacifer, to her thumb to now her 2 fingers. It took her longer to be able to use the exersaucer and jumperoo because she was just too little. She loves being on her belly to sleep and play. She was sleeping through the night at about 3 months and somewhere along the way that stopped and she was back to getting up 1 time a night. Not sure what happened.....little stinker, but we are back on track with sleeping through, which I am so thankful for. We're so thankful for this sweet baby girl.

Grandma and Grandpa Boyer came to visit

Grandpa and Laura
What a cool baby!

Grandpa and Grandma Boyer came into town for a visit. They were able to stay with us for a night. It was great catching up with even though it was a quick visit. Destiny was able to come with them again so the kids had a playmate too. We hung out at the beach for a little bit one day and then they spoiled us to a feast at Captain Georges for dinner one night.
